Our stylish Carved Lotus Pillar Bed features an inspired symmetrical hand carved lotus flower headboard, framed by thick carved pillars. The lotus flower has long been recognized as a spiritual symbol of iconic beauty and purity. The lotus headboard and carved footboard are both flanked by 8"-thick solid wood pillars. The pillars are carved with geometric and floral designs and take 9 months to carve and cure. The beds are handmade in a village in northern India by a family of master craftsmen who have passed on their skills for generations.
